Sneaky Robot

Published by Brendan Cave on 1 August 2008.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the robot closest to me may be lying. My iPod professes to be selecting songs - from the 80 gigs of music it currently stores - at random. This would lead me to believe that out of hundreds of hours of possible tune time, I wouldn't hear the same 12 songs so frequently. Perhaps my little iPadre is using un-random data such as playcount to facilitate his "random" selection. Maybe he thinks he knows what I want.

Maybe he's just busted.

Who's got the answer... Is there even an answer... Guess I'll dial a random phone number and hope I get Steve Jobs.
