Making waves

Published by Nick Hall on 14 September 2009.

Well it's here. After 2 months of hard work by our talented and dedicated staff, today we launched Ripple Social Media Services. And while we're excited to be first out of the box with this type of service in London, what I find equally exhilarating is the process through which it was created.

Ripple is the product of a collective of talented and driven individuals who focused on an objective and then applied their particular area of expertise to help bring it to life. This process of invention is hard work, and not just because we're boldly going where relatively few have gone, but because as a communications company we are also responsible for the end packaging and promotion of the idea. Of course, we're also responsible for keeping a thriving agency running in the mean time, but that's another story.

Synergy is a word thrown around a lot, primarily because it's a lot sexier than teamwork (and does not instantly bring to mind group showers or high fives). I, however, am hard pressed to find another word that does my team justice. Especially when you consider that this, my friends, is just the tip of the iceberg. Wait till you see what we have in the works.

Catch us if you can.
