Change is our domain

10 for 2010

Published by Nick Hall on 4 January 2010.

As we roll out of bed and into a fresh new pair of Christmas slippers, eager to start the new year full of vim and vigor (instead of booze and turkey), I thought the best way to start 2010 would be with a few positive affirmations for the company. You can call them resolutions if you like, but this is my blog not yours. So there.

1.) We will continue to advise our clients based on the understanding that there is no one magic bullet when it comes to marketing communications

2.) We will try even harder to "push the envelope" when it comes to our creative product because it is what we love to do

3.) We will look for new ways to say "push the envelope"

4.) We will only pursue clients that we believe will be best served by our culture and conviction

5.) We will spend more time being our own client

6.) We will continue to listen and learn from people who know more about things than we do

7.) We will keep asking the hard questions

8.) We will keep listening until we have the right answers

9.) We will try to forecast change, rather than just report it

10.) We will continue to change, and in doing so remain the same
